Horrible windy, rainy weather now but managed a good walk in the dry yet again today. Made it from Cstlehill Farm to the very pretty village of Berriedale and then pushed on up the big hill and for a couple more miles to Badbea car park - thus shortening tomorrow's tough stage over to Helmsdale.
Hopefully we'll get 2 or 3 hours of decent weather to finish off this first stretch then it's home to Ripon for a few days. Now we are off to the Bay Owl for a pint!
